Interim Executive Vice President, Corporate Services and Strategy
In October 2019, Glen Eades became the interim executive vice president of the AER’s Corporate Services and Strategy Division. Mr. Eades brings over 25 years of business and information technology expertise to this role and oversees matters of information management and technology, strategic management, people management, finance, and engagement.
Mr. Eades joined the AER as the vice president of Information Services in 2017. Since then, he has applied his strategic insight and expertise in information technology to support initiatives such as OneStop. He has also supported a number of critical improvements to information sharing and cybersecurity.
Before joining the AER, Mr. Eades had over 18 years of leadership experience in the private sector. As a member of the executive leadership team of Can-Am Geomatics, he was responsible for information and field survey technology, as well as business analysis. He has also held many positions at H&R Block Canada, where he ultimately served as chief information officer and was responsible for developing and executing long-term business and technology strategies.
Mr. Eades holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Calgary with a major in information systems management. He has served on numerous volunteer boards in support of community sports and enjoys an active lifestyle with his family.
