Today we released a new submission process for new well base maximum rate limitations (O-38) applications. Companies must now submit these applications using the web form available on the Directive Forms webpage. Applications submitted by email will no longer be accepted.
The new web form also includes the following changes:
- Consultants submitting the web form on behalf of a company can now provide their contact information.
- Applicants are now asked to confirm that gas production from the well is conserved in accordance with Directive 060 requirements.
Directive 007-1: Allowables Handbook—Guidelines for the Calculation of Monthly Production Allowables in Alberta has been updated to reflect the changes to the process. Furthermore, the frequently asked questions (FAQ) document for form O-38 has been removed and incorporated into the directive.
The revised edition of Directive 007-1 is available on our website on the Directives webpage. If you have any questions, contact our Customer Contact Centre by phone at 1-855-297-8311 or by email at inquiries@aer.ca.
