The ST37 dataset has been enhanced to provide a more accurate representation of the lifecycle of wells within Alberta and includes additional information to improve data visibility and understanding. Effective this month, the transition from shapefile to geodatabase format is complete. The shapefile format has been retired, and spatial data is now available in geodatabase format.
ST37: List of Wells in Alberta reflect the life cycle of wells within Alberta as reported to the AER and is available in Excel and Geodatabase format.
All format zip packages have been upgraded to include bottom holes, surface holes, production strings and geometry information. Refer to the metadata included in the zipped files for all attributes and the reference document for data structure.
