Today, we released new editions of the following directives and manual to support the submission of select operational notifications in OneStop:

- Directive 036: Drilling Blowout Prevention Requirements and Procedures

- Directive 055: Storage Requirements for the Upstream Petroleum Industry
- Directive 058: Oilfield Waste Management Requirements for the Upstream Petroleum Industry
- Directive 067: Eligibility Requirements for Acquiring and Holding Energy Licences and Approvals
- Directive 083: Hydraulic Fracturing – Subsurface Integrity
- Manual 023: Licensee Life-Cycle Management
The directives and manual have been updated regarding the submission methods for notification. The directive landing pages have been updated to indicate the designated information submission system for various operational notifications.
Starting November 2, 2026, the following operations notifications are available in OneStop:

Any notifications and submissions not listed above will continue to be submitted in their current system or process. No changes were made to requirements for reporting through the Energy and Environmental Emergency 24-Hour Response Line.
To support the new editions, the Oil and Gas Conservation Rules, Oil Sands Conservation Rules, Pipeline Rules, Coal Conservation Rules, Geothermal Resource Development Rules, Brine-Hosted Mineral Development Rules, and Rock-Hosted Mineral Development Rules will be amended.
