Purpose of this Directive
This directive sets out the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) requirements for a primary recovery scheme application under section 10 of the Oil Sands Conservation Act (OSCA). Section 10 of OSCA governs approval of any scheme or operation to recover oil sands or crude bitumen within an oil sands area.
