We issue costs orders to companies after AER hearings. Cost orders require companies to pay for some of the expenses incurred by participants to take part in a hearing. Hearing participants may apply for a cost order by submitting their cost claims to the AER.
A participant can be a person, group, or association of persons who have been permitted to participate in a hearing.
