Directive 025Industrial Development Permit Applications to the ERCB - A Guide to Content [On May 13, 2011, the Energy Statutes Amendment Act, 2011 came into force. It repealed Sections 28 to 31 of the Coal Conservation Act, Section 43 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Act, and Section 12 of the Oil Sands Conservation Act. These sections deal with industrial development permits. As a result of these amendments, the ERCB will no longer issue industrial development permits. All existing industrial development permits and all applications for industrial development permits are cancelled, and Directive 025 is no longer in effect.]
