The Hydraulic Fracturing Water Use, Chemical Use and Water Source Data information has three components, a report and two files. It discloses hydraulic fracturing fluid product component information. A client generated report provides a summary of chemicals and volume of water used during hydraulic fracturing operations in Alberta at a drill leg level.

The report’s data is daily and behind one day. Users can search by Well Licence Number, Well UWI, BA code or name, Surface location or Municipality. The tableau replaces the fracfocus.ca report which is no longer available
