New Submission Process for New Well Base Maximum Rate Limitations (O 38) Applications
Today we released a new submission process for new well base maximum rate limitations (O-38) applications. Companies must now submit these applications using the web form available on our website, aer.ca > Regulating Development > Rules and Directives > AER Forms > Directive Forms. Applications submitted by email will no longer be accepted.
The new web form also includes the following changes:
- Consultants submitting the web form on behalf of a company can now provide their contact information.
- Applicants are now asked to confirm that gas production from the well is conserved in accordance with Directive 060 requirements.
Directive 007-1: Allowables Handbook—Guidelines for the Calculation of Monthly Production Allowables in Alberta has been updated to reflect the changes to the process. Furthermore, the frequently asked questions (FAQ) document for form O-38 has been removed and incorporated into the directive.
The revised edition of Directive 007-1 is available on our website at www.aer.ca > Regulating Development > Rules and Directives > Directives. If you have any questions, contact our Customer Contact Centre by phone at 1-855-297-8311 or by email at @email.
