Jude Daniels, BSW, LL.B.

Board Director

Jude Daniels has extensive experience as an oil and gas lawyer, Aboriginal consultation advisor, and has worked in the oil and gas sector since 1998. Ms. Daniels has her own consulting company, which specializes in mediation, employment and regulatory matters.

In addition to being a board director, Jude Daniels is the chair of the board governance committee and a voting member on the board regulatory review committee.

In 2014, she was appointed to the federal Social Security Tribunal – General Division for a two-year term to hear appeals under the Canada Pension Plan Act.

Ms. Daniels was appointed a part-time AER hearing commissioner in 2016 and was reappointed in 2019. 

Ms. Daniels has been a board member of the Calgary 2026 Olympic Bid Corporation, Apeetogosan (Métis) Development Corporation, and the Indigenous Bar Association Scholarship Foundation.

She is a member of the Métis Nation of Alberta, the Indigenous Bar Association, and the Law Society of Alberta. She lives in Canmore, Alberta with her family and is an active community volunteer.
